BREAKING NEWS: YELMER SET FOR GP2 SERIES TEST WITH CATERHAM TEAM AIR ASIA.

Jerez, Spain 27 September - Dutch race driver Yelmer Buurman is set to drive for Caterham Team AirAsia during this week's GP2 test at the track of Jerez. The former Formula One rookie driver of team Force India F1 will perform a one day test at the track of Jerez.
" I am very eager to drive in the GP2 Series car again and I am grateful to Caterham Team AirAsia to provide me with this possibility. My objective is to perform in a consistent and productive manner in order to show potential speed to ultimately achieve maximum result. GP2 Series remains the front portal to the Formula One platform and it would be an excellent opportunity for me to continue to race in these Series to achieve my objectives."
Yelmer Buurman made his debut in the GP2 Series in 2008 with Arden International with RedBull F1 team manager Christian Horner and contested in 2009 in the Asian GP2 Series with the team of former Formula One driver Tiago Monteiro of Ocean Racing Technology.
